Bunker Classic (2009), GoldenEye: Source

This is the HD recreation of the Bunker map from GoldenEye 64 I made for the GoldenEye: Source project in 2009. In 2015 I did some lighting and texture reworks for the 5.0 launch.

The entire map was recreated by hand in Valve Hammer Editor to within 1 inch of accuracy of the original game's geometry. I made the textures in photoshop with a perfect color match and tiling to the original ones.

This map set a new standard for classic maps in GoldenEye: Source as all of the previous ones got reworked using the workflow I established here.

The lighting is a combination of soft baked lightmaps and transparent black decals to evoke the visual style of vertex lighting on the N64.
