Here are some trim materials I created for a personal kitbashing project in 2023. I looked at various vintage aircraft as reference for the details. I wanted to have a good general basis for kitbashing fictional vintage looking aircraft / spacecraft that felt grounded with realistic engine, fuselage and panel details.
Each trim material is highpoly modelled in Blender and then baked to a UV plane in Substance Painter. They all share a tiling raw metal material made in Substance for visual consistency, with some wear and grime driven by the baked textures.
